Gabby Concepcion’s arrival faces trouble

GABBY Concepcion is said to be arriving on Tuesday from California. By that time, the cast of the movie he was supposed to do for GMA Films would have left for Italy, where the movie will be shot on location. He was replaced by Dennis Trillo.

We heard Daddy Jun Magdangal and Jolina, who made arrangements for him to do his supposed comeback movie, are annoyed and disappointed that he suddenly backed out from the project.

Gabby is expected to explain his side upon his arrival. He left the country after the 1994 Manila Filmfest scam and his falling out with then wife Jenny Syquia who confessed she’s a battered wife.

Gabby might be facing court problems here but he’s willing to face them all for the sake of his Daddy Rollie who’s currently sick and who he wants to visit personally and who’ll also celebrate his birthday soon.

But GMA execs warn Gabby that if he’s coming back to do with Star Cinema, he should be reminded that the contract he signed with them specifies that he can work with another company only after he has finished his film with GMA that also has the option for his second movie. He might have forgotten that he signed this contract before he signed up with Mommy Rose Flaminiano as his new manager.
