PBB housemate refuses to be circumcised

THERE was no eviction last Saturday in Pinoy Big Brother Teen Plus as Bikini Babe Linda of Iriga chose to have a volunteer exit after Kuya offered to give a grand vacation to her and her entire family.

It will be recalled that her Swedish dad is estranged from her Pinay mom and she wants them to reconcile, so she chose to have a vacation with them and her younger brother. She wanted to stay longer in Kuya’s house, but the unity of her family has now become her priority.

The other nominee, Spanish Stallion Kevin, also expressed his desire to make a voluntary exit after he was pressured to  have a circumcision while in Kuya’s house. It turns out that it’s not only Alex of Italy who is uncircumcised but also him, both of them being born and raised in Europe where circumcision is not a usual practice.

He and his dad, John, even had an argument because his dad wants him to get circumcised along with other 100 kids who’ll get it for free. But Kevin is adamant in his decision to remain uncut. He says he has been uncircumcised for 18 years   and wants to remain so, but we have a feeling he’s just scared of the  minor surgical procedure, but he won’t admit it.

About his dad, there’s no denying that John acted like a meddlesome stage father who’s pressuring his own son to get circumcised. Honestly, we have a feeling that if the voting for eviction pushed through last Saturday, it would have been  Kevin who got more votes and not Linda.

Kevin has become antipatiko not only in the eyes of his housemates but also that of most viewers. He appears more like a bully and he’s the reason why Josef from La Salle cried as Kevin can be quite overbearing. Josef has plenty of loyal followers and we won’t be surprised if they would all vote that Kevin be evicted. Also, Kevin cannot cultivate a showbiz career locally because being circumcised is a big thing here and he will always be teased as someone who is “supot.”

    I can’t believe that any civilised society still does any circumcision.

    And to pressure someone … its stupid. it would be like pressuring them to have sex or gay sex or whatever.

    Its indescent and its not what a civilised country does.
