Heart Evangelista finally admits breakup with Jericho Rosales

WHEN Heart Evangelista signed a two-year contract with GMA-7 recently in the presence of her dad, businessman Reynaldo Ongpauco, co-manager Annabelle Rama and GMA top guns - Atty. Felipe Gozon, Jimmy Duavit and Wilma Galvante, she was asked by the entertainment media if she and boyfriend Jericho Rosales have called it quits but she denied it.

A week after, she was humming a different tune when she finally admitted that it’s over between her and Jericho.

Some say that Jericho was not a good influence on Heart because the latter disobeyed her parents because of her love for her boyfriend.

For over two years, Heart was not on speaking terms with her dad whom she reconciled only recently.

But whatever the reason of the breakup, Heart is mum with and she’d rather talk and focus her attention on her first team-up with matinee idol Richard Gutierrez in the TV series “Codename: Asero” and her being part of GMA-7’s Sunday musical-variety show, ”SOP Rules” which is preparing a grand welcome for her today, May 4.

Heart’s first showbiz boyfriend was John Prats.
