Riza Santos doesnt dwell on rumors

WE talked to Riza Santos at the Viva presscon for “Ikaw Pa Rin, Bongga Ka Boy” and she feels so lucky to be working with today’s top calibre actors. She was Christopher de Leon’s girlfriend in “When Love Begins,” the rival of Ai Ai de las Alas over Robin Padilla in “Ikaw Pa Rin,” and the leading lady of Dolphy and Vic Sotto in “Dobol Trobol.”

“Even if I just delivered two lines in ‘When Love Begins’, it’s unforgettable for me dahil no less than si Christopher de Leon ang kaeksena ko,” she says.

“Maganda rin ang role ko bilang ka-love triangle ni Ms. Ai Ai over Robin in ‘Ikaw Pa Rin’. In ‘Dobol Trobol’, anak ako ni Tito Dolphy and kapareha ni Bossing Vic. I really feel so blessed dahil newcomer lang ako in the business.”

What she doesn’t like is when she’s being linked to the guys she works with. “Kasi hindi naman totoo. To begin with, married na sina Tito Christopher and Robin, while Tito Dolphy has Zsa Zsa Padilla and Bossing Vic has Pia Guanio, so eeksena pa ba naman ako? Somebody even wrote that Will Devaughn is jealous of Tito Dolphy, which is also not true. Will and I work together in ‘Utoy’ with Tito Dolphy at walang ganyang selosan at all.”
