Sunshine Cruz to file libel suit against Cesar Montano’s sister

It’s confirmed that Sunshine Cruz will file a libel case against the sister of her husband Cesar Montano named Mercedes or Chedi. Sunshine’s lawyer, Bonifacio Alentajan, said she is okay and still in control of her emotions. “She leaves it all to our justice system,” he adds.

As for Cesar, he was a no show at the presscon for “Urduja”, where he plays Regine Velasquez’s leading man. He was obviously avoiding the press and didn’t want to be interviewed by anyone. But he did issue an official statement about what’s happening to his wife and sister, saying he has told them “to stop destroying one another.”

He adds that “they don’t deserve to be treated this way,” obviously believing that it’s the media that’s trying to make things worse for them.

Well, Cesar should be reminded that it’s his sister who has been sending the incriminating things she said against Sunshine and it’s also Sunshine who first complained to some reporters of what her sister in-law is doing to her. If it didn’t come from them, the press will not learn about the conflict between them and have nothing to report about.
