Sharon Cuneta at Gabby Concepcion, bitbit ang angkan sa premiere night ni KC Concepcion

LAST Tuesday’s crowd sa premiere showing ng first Richard Gutierrez at KC Concepcion starrer, For the First Time, was the biggest na na-witness namin, so far.

Yes, in all the years that we’ve been covering movie and TV premieres.

Six in the evening pa lang (the invitation said 7 p.m. magsisimulang magpapasok ng tao), ang haba na ng pila.

Onlookers, who were a big crowd, too, just stood by para makita ang mga artistang manonood din ng pelikula.

Masasabing there was an overflow of celebrities sa nabanggit na event. True to what Annabelle Rama, mom and talent manager ni Richard promised, she had all her other talents attend the screening.

All of them were dressed-to-kill: From Michelle Madrigal, Ana Roces and Bubble Paraiso, among others.

The Gutierrez brood also came in full force: Ruffa Gutierrez, Raymond (Richard’s twin brother), Elvis and Rocky. And, of course, the patriarch of the Gutierrez family, Eddie, who appears in a guest role sa pelikula as Richard’s dad.

Sayang at wala si Heart Evangelista, talent din ni Annabelle at leading lady ni Richard sa kanyang action series on GMA-7, Codename: Asero.

Kung nagkataon kasi, nagkita sana sila ni Jericho Rosales, their first time after their much-publicized split-up.

Jericho arrived with the group of Angeli Pangilinan, his talent manager.

Angeli came with husband Gary Valenciano, their kids, Kiana and Gabriel, and sister-in-law, Maricel Laxa, married to Anthony Pangilinan, younger brother ni Angeli.

Angeli is also the older sister ni Senator Kiko Pangilinan, stepdad ni KC.

Natural na nasa premiere rin si Sen. Kiko with wife Sharon (Cuneta), mom ni KC.

Days before the event, nagkaroon ng usap-usapan na baka hindi dumating si Sharon, dahil iniiwasan nga nito ang pagtatagpo nila ng dating asawa at ama ni KC, si Gabby Concepcion.

But this problem has obviously been resolved when people in-charge of the Star Cinema movie suggested to Gabby na tutal naman dalawa ang sinehang paglalabasan ng pelikula, he and his companions, mostly mga kapatid at relatives niya, ay sa Cinema 9 manood.

Sharon and company naman were at Cinema 10 where the greater bulk of the celebrities na nag-attend ay doon din nanood.

Ganunpaman, Richard and KC took time to greet the audience sa Cinema 9. Obviously, noon lang din natuklasan ni KC na manonood din ang kanyang Papa.

Sabi ng photographer na si Boy Borja, ang pagtatagpo ng mag-ama sa stage ay “nakaka-touch at nakakaiyak. In-announce ni Gabby na kasama niya sa audience ang ama at ina (lolo at lola ni KC), mga tiyahin, tiyuhin at mga pinsan.”

No wonder KC said she felt complete that night.

The entire Cuneta clan was also present, kabilang na ang “Mamita” ni KC na si Elaine Cuneta.

Just asking: How come wala yatang representative ni Helen Gamboa (kung hindi pa siya nakakauwi from Las Vegas, Nevada)?

Helen happens to be the favorite aunt of Sharon. Si Helen ay younger sister ng mother ni Sharon na si Ma’am Elaine.

Sa totoo lang, the presence of former senator and now anti-drugs board head Tito Sotto or any of his and Helen’s children (na first cousins ni KC) would have spelled a great difference sa importance ng occasion para kay KC.
