Kris Aquino’s joke on Charlene blows out of proportion

KRIS Aquino didn’t know she’d get embroiled in a controversy when she joked that Charlene Gonzales was “nagpapa-star” at the fashion show of a designer since Charlene came in a blue gown while the rest of them are garbed in black. Kris already made it clear she was just joking but a lot of people think she purposedly made a snide remark to embarrass Charlene.

“Nagbibiro lang talaga ako,” Kris insists. “Sorry if I was misunderstood by some people. Kaya nga nag-sorry na rin ako sa ‘TV Patrol’ to show that I mean no harm talaga. Dapat, natapos na roon ang issue. E, parang gusto pa ring pala-kihin ng ibang tao.”

Kris’ 6 p.m. game show, “Kapamilya Deal or No Deal,” is rating so high it’s not surprising that GMA7 is replacing Arnell Ignacio’s “Gobingo” with another show. Someone suggested that, maybe, she should invite Charlene to be a guest contestant in “KDOND” so that they can really patch things up between them.

And while we’re at it, maybe she should also invite her other “foes,” like Cristy Fermin and Jobert Sucaldito, two of the reasons why she resigned from “The Buzz” then. Now, we hear that she wants to return as host in “The Buzz.” So does that mean she’s ready to kiss and make up with Cristy and Jobert? Wonder what will happen to her replacemen, Ruffa Gutierrez, if and when she does return to “The Buzz.”
