Anne Curtis spares KC Concepcion from breakup mess

ANNE Curtis is surprised why some writers are twisting her words, saying that she declared Sam Milby broke up with her as he intends to woo KC Concepcion. “I never said anything like that,” she stresses. “Ewan kung saan nanggaling ‘yan. Sabi ko, I think he wants to focus on his relationship with God, which was also my reason when we had a problem then and I also wanted to fix my relationship with God first kasi wala akong personal relationship noon with the Lord and I was awakened.

Hindi naman kami nag-break talaga. Wala akong sinabing there’s a third party involved, lalo na si KC na ewan ko kung bakit nadamay dito. What happened is we’re not exclusively dating anymore. Mahirap tanggapin, but in the long run I was able to understand him kasi nga, pinagdaanan ko rin ‘yun. Dapat lang naman talaga, ayusin muna ng lahat ang relationship nila with the Lord bago ang anupaman. Kawawa naman si Sam. He’s in Europe, kung anu-ano nababalita sa kanya rito. Unfair din kay KC.”

Is she ready to go out dating with other guys now? “No, I’d rather not. Career muna ako. Busy ako shooting ‘Baler’, a period film na entry sa Metro filmfest in December. Tapos, I’m also busy taping for ‘Dyosa’, then my ASAP pa on Sundays. No time din naman to go out dating. But as of now, I feel better na, especially after my vacation in the States. Siyempre, it’s a painful process na you’re going through and it helps a lot na I’ve matured naman so kahit na-hurt man ako, I’m able to cope with it.”

What if Sam goes back to her? “I think it’s too soon to think of such a thing. Okay naman kami ni Sam. We see each other sa set ng ‘Dyosa’ and we talk naman, hindi naman kami nagdededmahan. But who knows what will happen in the future, di ba? So hindi natin masabi. It’s all up to God if it’s His will. But as of now, ayo-kong mag-isip ng ganyan. Kahit hindi maging talaga kami, I still want us to be friends. As of now, I’m just thankful that I have a great project like ‘Baler’ that I can truly be proud of. Direk Mark Meily is such a good filmmaker I have no doubt this will be one the best films in my entire career.”
