GINULAT nina Aga Muhlach at Charlene Gonzales si Batangas Governor Vilma Santos with their unannounced arrival sa Ala Eh Festival sa Batangas City.
Ito ay ayon kay Aida Fandialan, accountant at Girl Friday ng Star for All Seasons.
The occasion was the final day of the celebration of the 428th foundation day ng Batangas.
Also present was Christopher de Leon, who is running for a municipal board seat in the 2nd district of Batangas.
As we all know, Cainta was one of the most devastated areas nu’ng Ondoy. A number of houses, buildings, especially schools, were practically mangled. One of them was the Marick ES.
Well, ngayon, bago na ang kanilang pathways dahil sinemento na ito with the help ng Jollibee.
“They are helping repair our multi-purpose hall as well,” ani Fe Macahis, principal. “And they are having it repainted.”
All students ng Marick ES, numbering 1,851 (yes, 1,851), each went home na may bitbit na toys and books, learning materials and school supplies, courtesy of MaAga ang Pasko.
Ang next na pinuntahan ng grupo that same day ay ang Ilugin Elementary School sa Pinagbuhatan, Ilugin, Pasig City.
The school, located beside a squatters’ area, ay binaha. It has a total population of 2,764.
Aside from giving out gift bags, tumulong din ang Jollibee, according to principal Emelita Medina, na pinturahan ang school building.
The week before, Aga and the group were at the Nangka High School in Nangka, Marikina City, and Ampid 1 Elementary School.
It has 340 students.

MaAga ang Pasko is a toy and book-collection drive for the benefit of less-fortunate children all over the country. A brainchild of Aga, it has been in existence for 15 years now.
Today, the project has no less than the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) for its partner.
Ani Aga: “When I conceptualized MaAga ang Pasko and launched it in ABS-CBN’s Oki Doki Doc, I had two objectives in mind.
“One is, iyon nga, to spread cheer during the Christmas season, especially sa mga batang nasa orphanages.
“The gifts will be in the form of toys, used ones, okay lang, although, preferably new ones, na manggagaling sa mga batang nakakaangat sa buhay at likas ang pagiging maganda ang puso.
“It was when I became an endorser of Jollibee that they got involved with the project.
“Thanks to them at lalong lumawak ang proyekto. Lalong maraming bata ang sa murang edad ay nare-realize how blessed they are to share their blessings with others.
“And now, heto at gusto na rin naming maging part ng pag-e-educate sa mga bata.
“As popularized by Jollibee, bida ang saya kapag nakakatulong at nakakapagbigay ka ng saya, lalo na sa mga bata.”
