Building a Business Through Followers

Early in the year, I came up with a great business idea and started an Instagram page to promote it. Out of all of the social media platforms that are currently being used, I think Instagram is the best one because there aren’t so many limitations on what you can post, unless it involves some kind of inappropriate content. My business is a line of post exercise equipment. I had a little trouble getting people to notice my page before I figured out how to buy instagram views. After that, I got a lot of inquiries about my products.

The increase of followers caused my orders to spike, and for the first time, I was able to sell out of items. I had to increase my production to make up for this. This meant hiring some more people to help make the products and to ship them out. My little operation was evolving into a full blown business, and people were spreading the word about what we offered. We still had a long way to go to compete with the big dogs in the industry, but we were well on our way to the top of the food chain.

The business got its first major endorsement from a celebrity who used one of our products. She posted about how much she loved the product and how she uses it after every workout. We wanted to do something to thank her for being a supporter of our product. We put our heads together and came up with the idea of sending her a personalized t-shirt with our company logo on it, and sending her some more products that she could use and post about. It worked as a gift and a promotional tool for getting more people on board with our products.
