Christian Bautista Serenades OFWs In London And Barcelona

Asia’s Pop Idol Christian Bautista recently sang Pinoy’s most favorite love songs to homesick Overseas Filipino Workers (OFWs) at the Morden Park in London, and at the Estacio del Nord in Barcelona on Philippine Independence Day.

With the concert sponsored by The Filipino Channel (TFC) and Globe, a crowd of thousands was also treated to quick fun games and prizes, and zany stand-up comedy with Pooh in London, and Pretty Tricia in Barcelona.

“I’m very grateful to have had the opportunity to spend Independence Day with my fellow countrymen in Europe. It was my second time in London for a show. And I was happy to see familiar faces. It was, however, my first time in Barcelona. We celebrated Independence Day from Spain in Spain,” shared Christian.

Charice launches new album

Rachelle Ann Go: Falling In Love

It’s no coincidence that Rachelle Ann Go’s latest album and concert are both titled Falling in Love. After ending her last relationship (with Christian Bautista), the Ultimate Champion is back on track, romantically and musically.

Her pre-Valentine concert on January 30 and 31 at the Music Museum will bring together people who are special in Rachelle Ann’s life: Richard Poon, Gab Valenciano and a surprise guest on January 30, and Gab with Christian Bautista and Ogie Alcasid on January 31. Charice offered US stay by David Foster, says mom

American record producer and composer David Foster, the manager of international singing sensation Charice, has offered the young Filipino star to move to the United States, her mother has said.

In an exclusive interview with , Raquel Pempengco, Charice’s mother, said Foster told them that it would be convenient to stay in the US while the singer attends to her commitments abroad.

“Ang sabi niya ay mag-stay na nga kami doon kasi nandoon na ‘yung career ni Charice pero hindi nga ako pumayag kasi nandito pa si Koykoy (Charice younger brother),” the mother said.

Pempengco said that she would prefer to return to the Philippines from time to time, even for just a few days because of her son’s schooling.

Sarah Geronimo returns to the Big Dome via ‘The Next One’

WE first saw Sarah Geronimo on the Araneta Coliseum stage as a performer out to prove herself in her maiden solo concert, The Other Side.

In 2007, she was back at the Big Dome in Sarah Geronimo in Motion, a show that highlighted her metamorphosis from a vibrant, multi-talented girl to a confident, classy woman.

In both concerts, Sarah played to thousands of wildly cheering fans that had the Araneta rocking.

On November 8, 8 p.m., Sarah returns to the Araneta for her third solo concert, The Next One, which has the makings of another smash hit.

Her movie, A Very Special Love, was a certified box-office winner, reportedly grossing P200 million.
