NOW it can be told! Nagkakalabuan pala talaga sina Angelica Panganiban at Derek Ramsay.

Finally, inamin ni Angelica ang real score sa kanila ni Derek. Napansin kasi ng press people na um-attend ng presscon ng Iisa Pa Lamang na something was wrong with Angelica.

In fact, when she was called in by Manay Ethel (Ramos), isang teary-eyed na Angelica ang nag-emerge. Nakangiti man habang bumababa sa stairs, may luha sa mga mata nito.

It was later on revealed na in pain nga ito dahil may problema sila ni Derek. Kaya pala during the question-and-answer portion ng presscon, hindi niya ma-admit na si Derek (when asked who is her ‘one great love’) na ito.

Ang laki ng ipinayat ni Angelica Panganiban nang makita namin siya sa press launching nila ni Dingdong Dantes para sa Mario D’ Boro shoes.

Lumiit tingnan ang mukha niya at bumagay sa kanya ang short hair niya. She’s down to 105 lbs na lang daw.

Dati, ang peak weight niya ay 128 lbs. nu’ng 16 years old daw siya. She’s turning 22 years old this year.

She made a big splash last year when she did A Love Story with Aga Muhlach kaso hindi kaagad ito binigyan ng follow-up ng ABS-CBN at Star Cinema kaya nasayang ang momentum.

Gabby Concepcion respects Sharon Cuneta’s decision

TODAY is the first taping day of “Iisa Pa Lamang”, Gabby Concepcion’s first regular show since he returned to Manila. Talented stars from various generations are teaming up to make this teleserye an unforgettable experience.

Aside from Gabby, other members of the cast are Claudine Barretto, Diether Ocampo, Angelica Panganiban, Cherie Pie Picache, Laurice Guillen, Matt Evans, Melissa Ricks and Ms. Susan Roces, with Lani Misalucha singing the theme song. This will be directed by Ruel Bayani and Manny Palo.

“I’m excited with the project,” says Gabby. “I’m also looking forward to working with the cast. Most of the young stars, hindi ko pa nakatrabaho. But Laurice Guillen was my director in two movies I did before with Sharon Cuneta, so nakatrabaho ko na siya.”

Mother ni Angelica Panganiban boto kay Derek Ramsey

GUESS kung kanino tumatakbo si Derek Ramsey kapag nag-aaway o, kaya’y nagkakaroon sila ng tampuhan ni Angelica Panganiban, his girlfriend.

“Sa mommy ko,” Angelica volunteered. “Malakas kasi siya sa mommy ko. Sobra siyang gusto ni Mommy.”

Inaamin ni Angelica na malaking factor si Derek sa maraming changes na kasalukuyang nangyayari sa kanya.

Happily, pawang positive naman ang influence na nagawa ni Derek sa kanyang buhay.

ONCE a year lang kung gumawa ng movie si Aga Muhlach kaya he wants to make sure na magandang proyekto ito.

He was last seen in A Love Story with Angelica Panganiban and Maricel Soriano in 2007 at ngayong taong ito, When Love Begins naman with Anne Curtis ang handog niya sa manonood.

Ayon kay Aga, mas gusto na niya ang ganitong sistema para mapaghandaan niyang mabuti.

“Minsan pa nga, not every year, may movie ako. Like after Dubai (in 2005), wala akong movie noong 2006. I stopped for one year and then, nu’ng 2007, ’yung A Love Story na nga.

“Hindi naman ako umaayaw, kumbaga, kailangan lang maganda, tinitiyempuhan mo lang,” sabi ng aktor.

CLAMOR FOR KC-RICHARD MOVIE HOPELESS?

AT the press conference for “I Am KC,” some of the words used to describe or introduce her were “showbiz royalty” and “princess.”         The press in attendance agreed that these were the apt words to describe KC, being the daughter of Megastar Sharon Cuneta and erstwhile matinee idol Gabby Concepcion.

Being tagged as a princess and showbiz royalty somehow makes her uncomfortable. She respects other young actresses who came before her and KC doesn’t even want to think that she has special privilege that’s why she’s called princess. She watches the shows of other young actresses like Bea Alonzo, Angelica Panganiban, and Judy Ann Santos.

She wouldn’t want to think of the “princess” tag. “I just want to do my job well. I want to do my best para naman po hindi ako mapahiya sa mga nakakatrabaho ko na matagal na sa industriyang ito,” says KC.

HOY, Ian F., totoo kayang a cool P8M, yes P8M, ang natanggap na kabayaran ni KC Concepcion for doing those billboards on EDSA in a bikini?

Well, the aggressive clothing line is Bayo.

And contrary to report din daw, Ian F., KC has her mother’s blessings for the project.
