Sarah Geronimo, Gerald Anderson started shooting their 2nd film

September 8, 2011

Actress-singer Sarah Geronimo and Gerald Anderson shared their excitement as they began shooting their second film under Star Cinema.

The movie will be directed by Raz dela Torre.

Me, I’m In Love,’” Geronimo said.

Anderson, for his part, said, “Sobrang hirap kasi nag-aadjust pa kami kasi sobrang layo talaga sa unang movie namin kasi anak ako ng president doon sa [unang movie namin] at iba din naman ang role ni Sarah, so nag-a-adjust pa kami pero sa tingin ko makukuha namin ‘yon.”

The two admitted that they are feeling the pressure since their first movie, “Catch Me, I’m In Love,” was a blockbuster hit.

The film was shown early this year.

Meanwhile, Geronimo and Anderson said they are already used to issues linking them to each other.

“Link na link na nga kami. Siyempre hindi natin maiiwasan ‘yun kasi gumagawa kami ng pelikula,” Geronimo said.

“Sanay na kami diyan. Halos three times kaming magkasama sa isang linggo, may bago kaming movie so ini-expect na namin ‘yon,” Anderson added.

Bea Alonzo, Kim Chiu and Gerald Anderson clarify ‘isnaban’ issue

May 17, 2011

“Wala namang dedmahaman.

“Last year pa ho ‘yon.

Wala na it’s so last year.”

Sarah Geronimo is open to working with John Lloyd Cruz and Gerald Anderson again

May 17, 2011

Sarah Geronimo is now busy working on her latest album, One Heart which includes 15 tracks that are really close to her heart because they all speak about love. And while she is currently focused on her music, the singer-actress revealed that there are also talks about her next movie project.

At the shoot of her music video, Sarah was asked if there is already a follow-up project after her successful team-up with Gerald Anderson in the romantic-comedy movie, Catch Me…I’m In Love. She added that she has not heard any word yet if she will have another movie team-up with Gerald.

The Popstar Princess also explained the issue about not exchanging contact numbers with Gerald when they did their latest film project. “It’s not needed na magkaroon ng constant communication kasi co-actors kami at professional naman, ‘di ba,” she reasoned.

Speaking of leading men, Sarah shared that she is also open to working with former leading man John Lloyd Cruz, but hopes that it will not be a sequel of their two previous hit movies, A Very Special Love and You Changed My Life. She continued that she do miss working with the brilliant actor because he is such a talented actor to work with.

But in the meantime, Sarah will concentrate on her music. Aside from the album, she is also slated to do a series of concerts here and outside the country. “Magpi- Philippine concert po muna kami, magki-kick off siya sa July so pagkatapos po no’n may Australia shows po yata kami, may series of shows kaya pupunta kami sa Australia.”

Kim Chiu and Gerald Anderson reconcile during US trip

April 28, 2011

IS it true Kim Chiu and Gerald Anderson reconciled while they’re doing the Star Magic tour in the U.S. last week? It’s said they were canoodling. “Mas sweet pa sila kaysa kina John Lloyd Cruz at Shaina Magdayao,” someone told us.

This should make Kimerald fans happy since they really want their idols to kiss and make up even after Gerald has proven he can go solo in “Catch Me, I’m in Love” with Sarah Geronimo that raked more moolah at the tills than any of the films he did with Kim.

If this story were true, then it doesn’t augur well for Jolo Revilla who has expressed his desire to be closer to Kim once they start taping her new series, “Binondo Girl”, where Jolo will be one of her leading men. Jolo said this after some writers were insisting his being cozy with Jodi Sta. Maria, his co-star in “Noah” who’s separated from non-showbiz husband Pampi Lacson. Jolo told them it’s really Kim with whom he is attracted to right now. But then, if Kim had really patch things up with Gerald, that means Jolo has no choice but to make a retreat.

Kim Chiu surprises Gerald Anderson in GenSan

December 11, 2010

Despite his success, young actor Gerald Anderson has remained grounded and treasures his humble beginnings in General Santos City, where he grew up.

On Wednesday, Anderson had their newly renovated house in GenSan blessed. The actor admitted that the house is his gift for his mom this Christmas.

“Gift to para sa mama ko. Siyempre dito talaga siya sa Gen San so naisip ko pagandahin ang bahay namin kasi ito din ang dating bahay namin, pinalaki ko lang para sa mama ko,” he said.

Anderson’s mom was elated with his son’s present.

“Well ako talaga, blessing yang bahay ko. Siya naman din ang gumastos nito eh. Nanggaling sa pinagpaguran ni Gerald. I’m very happy.

The gathering was attended by the young actor’s friends from Manila and GenSan. His relatives and neighbors were also present.

Anderson was surprised and was made extra happy by the presence of his longest on-screen partner, Kim Chiu, who flew all the way from Manila just to be present in the event.

After Anderson’s quick stay in his hometown, he is now back in Manila and is set to do projects with his newest leading lady, Jewel Mische, and Popstar Princess Sarah Geronimo.

“Excited ako sa project at excited akong makatrabaho siya (Mische). Unang-una kasi, galing siyang GMA, and ‘yun, lumipat siya sa atin. Kumbaga, it’s a very exciting challenge,” he said.

Sarah Geronimo mum about Gerald Anderson

July 20, 2009

SARAH Geronimo casually mentioned Gerald Anderson when asked who she’d like to be paired with next after John Lloyd Cruz. Because of that, there’s a deluge of hate mails from the fans of the Gerald-Kim Chiu loveteam denouncing her, calling her “malandi,” among other things, for allegedly wanting to destroy the Kimerald tandem.

“Ayoko na lang sagutin ‘yan,” Sarah, who’s turning 21 on July 25, said at the opening last Saturday of Unica Hija’s store at the 2nd floor of SM Fairview Annex 1 in which she’s the endorser. “Basta tinanong lang ako, sinagot ko. I didn’t know why (there was) such overreaction.”

“Huwag na lang patulan ‘yan,” said someone in Sarah’s management team. “The fans of John Lloyd’s team with Bea Alonzo also threatened then that they will boycott his movie with Sarah, but it turned out both movies they made became blockbusters. Ni wala pangang definite project for Sarah and Gerald, sobrang violent na sila.”
