Albert Martinez defends Jericho Rosales

ALBERT Martinez just returned from Kuala Lumpur where he’s doing the Fil-Malaysian co-production, “A Time for Us,” with Jericho Rosales. “I stayed there for one month and we shot all over Malaysia, including inside their most famous landmark, the Petronas Towers,” he says.
“I play the stepfather of Jericho’s leading lady, Carmen Soo, and I’m against it when they fall in love with each other. Ang wife ko rito who’s Carmen’s mother is a Malaysian actress named Soo San. Kabangga ko rito ang ninong ni Jericho, si Christopher de Leon. We were given VIP treatment there and we stayed in our own villas na may two bedrooms and two bathrooms each.
Our Malaysian co-stars and co-workers are all very nice, very accommodating, really going out of their way to please us. We rehearse all our dialogue in English so they can understand it, but during the actual, we Pinoys deliver our lines in Tagalog at kapag pinalabas na roon, lalagyan na lang ng Malay and Chinese subtitles.

ANGELI Pangilinan clarify some things about Heart Evangelista’s statement against Jericho Rosales. “I really feel sad about the whole thing because I consider Heart as family, but I don’t really know now where she’s coming from,” she says. “When she returned from the U.S. up to the time Echo left for Malaysia, okay na okay sila and were even inseparable, so he had no inkling something like this would happen. But on the day he left, that’s when Heart called me to tell me she’s already leaving Genesis as she’s going back to her parents.
It happened too fast, but we respected her decision and we had a proper turnover, even with my staff. When Echo called me later and said we take good care of her, I told him Heart has already left Genesis and he was surprised. She says she felt jealous when she saw Echo hugging his leading lady in ‘I Love You Virus’, Brianna Evigan.

Kung napanood lang ni Heart Evangelista si Jericho Rosales last Sunday sa The Buzz, bato na lang ang batang actress kung ’di siya na-touch sa mga sinabi ng ex-boyfriend at ang pagluha nito dahil sa kanya.
Most touching para sa amin ang parteng sinasabi niyang punung-puno ang katawan niya ni Heart. Suot niya ang singsing na bigay ng dalaga, ang dalawang necklace at pati ang polo niya ay galing din sa young actress.
Finally, inamin na rin ni Echo na si Heart ang nagsasabi ng totoo na talagang break na sila.
In denial lang daw siguro siya, pero talagang sinabi sa kanya ng young actress na gusto na nitong makipaghiwalay via text, phone call at e-mail.

JERICHO Rosales was interviewed by Boy Abunda in “The Buzz” about his breakup with Heart Evangelista. He earlier said he was the last to know and just learned about it from watching TV. But later, he said he had known about it while still in Malaysia, even before he returned to Manila.
In “Showbiz Central,” Heart (who’s in Dubai taping “Codename: Asero” with Richard Gutierrez) was interviewed live on the phone by host Raymond Gutierrez and she cried, saying a mouthful against Jericho in the course of the interview with her.
“Ang feeling ko napahiya ako,” she says. “Naiiyak ako at nagagalit ako. Bakit hindi siya consistent sa sagot niya? I broke up with him on the phone. Naiiyak ako kasi sobrang sakit ng ginawa niya sa akin. Bakit siya nagsisinungaling at pinalalabas pa niyang ako ang nagsisinungaling? Yes, may third party involved. There were actually two girls. One was ‘yung leading lady niya sa movie, ’I Love You Virus’, that was shot here (Brianna Evigan).

Sa kasagsagan ng balitang hiwalay na sina Heart Evangelista at Jericho Rosales, mukha namang tulala si Jericho nu’ng aming mapanood nitong nakaraang gabi sa isang panayam ng TV Patrol kung saan kinuha ang panig ng binata.
Halatang ‘di pa rin makapaniwala ang aktor sa kumakalat na balitang split na sila ni Heart at umano’y may third party pa na involved.
Dahil itsurang tulala ang aktor, hindi tuloy namin maintindihan kung umokey na ba si Heart sa kanya na sabihin niya on-air ang tungkol sa break-up nila. O ginulat na lang si Jericho ng balitang nakipaghiwalay na pala sa kanya ang kasintahan.

AFTER the story conference for “Codename: Asero” last Saturday, Heart Evangelista was interviewed by Raymond Gutierrez exclusively for “Showbiz Central.” She clarified that she was not able to announce that she has broken up with Jericho Rosales when she signed up earlier with GMA-7 because it was only a few days ago that she finalized calling it quits with him.
“Yes, I broke up with him due to irreconcilable differences,” she says. “It’s very sad and I don’t want to talk about it because I respect him.
We made everything final through phone and e-mail. Now, we have no more communication.”
