Jolina’s movie ITALY is a flop

Italy’s beautiful locations alone do not make a good movie. This was already proven by GMA Films in “Batanes.” The stunning vistas of the windswept islands up north are not enough to compensate for the shortcomings of the badly written script. This was also proven by Star Cinema’s “For the First Time,” that was even filmed in Greece but also suffered from a botched up screenplay. (In contrast, their “Very Special Love” didn’t even have to go somewhere far but proved to be so attractive to viewers who found it’s overly cute story irresistible.)

GMA Films now proves once again that foreign locations are not enough to attract moviegoers in “I.T.A.L.Y. (I Trust And Love You),” supposedly a tribute at that to OFWs. Again, the film’s chief drawback is its script by Sennedy Que.

Marvin Agustin teaches Jolina Magdangal about ’sex’

THE new Sunday afternooon show, “Dear Friend,” to be aired after “Pinoy Idol Extra,” is something that host Jolina Magdangal and Marvin Agustin believe is right up their alley.

“We will be reading the letters sent by viewers then we’ll each give our own opinion about the issue involved,” says Jolina. “Ayaw naming maging scripted ang sasabihin namin kasi baka mamaya, it might appear na nagmamarunong kami. Gusto naming maging natural ang lahat, hindi basta sumusunod sa script kundi nanggagaling sa puso namin ang anumang ipapayo namin. I already did something like this, ‘Payong Kaibigan’, when I was a teenager, pero ibang-iba ang topics noon, mabababaw, compared to the ones we get now na mas mature na kami.”
