Marian Rivera: No more intrigues, please

MARIAN Rivera won three honors at the 38th Box-Office Entertainment Awards of Guillermo Mendoza Memorial Park Foundation: Most Promising Female Star, Phenomenal TV Star (for “Marimar’) and Face of the Night. Most of the people present at the awards night believe she’s very deserving in winning all three awards.

“I’m really so thankful to the Lord sa dami ng blessings ko,” she says. “I’m so happy dahil ‘Dyesebel’ is now also confirmed as the number 1 show nationwide, hindi lang ito sa Manila.”

What can she say that some commercials originally meant for Angel Locsin are now assigned to her?

Marian Rivera makes a big splash

Cristine Reyes, mas malakas ang dating kesa kay Katrina — Paolo

KAHANGA-HANGA ang pagiging prangka ni Paolo Paraiso. Kahit anong itanong, sinasagot, ’di tulad ng ibang actor na paarte-arte pa.

Pati tuloy ang pagdalaw ni Willie Revillame sa shooting nila ng Ate nina Cristine Reyes at Ara Mina, ibinulgar sa press ng ex-husband ni Mylene Dizon.

Ang sumbong daw ni Cristine, “nangungulit” si Willie. Once lang daw naman dumalaw ang TV host sa set, hindi na nasundan pa.

Pati mga katabi naming reporter, lalo na si Chan Chan Torres, nagugulat sa pagiging sobrang prangka ni Paolo. Dalaga kasi si Chan Chan, kaya shocked ito sa walang malisyang pagkukuwento ng aktor na mas gusto niyang may ilaw at music ’pag may karomansahan sa kama.

“Maganda ’yung may ilaw para nakikita n’yo ang isa’t isa. Saka, ayoko ’yung hubad agad ang girl. Mas nakaka-el ’pag naka-polo lang, tapos walang suot na panty,” ani Paolo.

Ordinaryo na raw sa gaya niyang model ang makakita ng hubad na katawan ng babae, kaya mas feel niya ang nakadamit. ’Yun daw parang hinahabol mo ang kung anong nakatago.

Tinanong din si Paolo kung sino ang mas malakas ang sex appeal: Si Katrina Halili ba o si Cristine?

Balita kasing nanliligaw itong si Paolo kay Katrina.

“Hindi totoo ’yon. Sexy at maganda si Katrina, pero hindi ko siya nililigawan. Nagsimula ’yang tsismis na ’yan nu’ng magkasama kami sa isang teleserye sa GMA-7,” depensa niya.

Ganunpaman, mas malakas daw ang dating ng younger sister ni Ara Mina sa kanya kesa kay Katrina.

Consistent si Paolo nang sabihing nag-init siya sa love scene nila ni Cristine sa Ate.

Wala nga raw siyang itulak-kabigin sa magkapatid na Ara at Cristine, na tinuhog niya sa movie na ipalalabas sa lahat ng SM cinema simula sa March 5.

May premiere night ito sa March 4.

Bianca Gonzales, binigyan ng bulaklak ni Direk Lino nu’ng V-Day

ITINANGGI ni Bianca Gonzales na nagkabalikan na sila ni Direk Lito Cayetano.

Lalong ayaw niyang aminin na siya ang naging cause ng break-up nina Direk Lino at KC Concepcion, who reportedly became the former’s girlfriend immediately after mag-break sila ni Bianca.

Tigas-tanggi rin si Bianca na sadya ’yung pagkikita nilang dalawa sa Singapore. Nagkataon lang daw na pareho silang nandu’n, kaya nagkita sila.

Ganunpaman, inamin ni Bianca na noong Valentine’s Day, nakatanggap siya ng bulaklak from Direk Lino, who is currently in New York.

Bianca is one of the hosts featured sa programang Celebrity Central Block, Cinema One’s five shows-in-one. She is assigned to cap the week as Friday’s host of the entire week’s entertainment news condensed into a show, Cinemanews Weekend Edition.

Bianca Gonzales reconciles with Lino Cayetano

BIANCA Gonzales was put on the  spot when she was asked pointblank at the presscon of Cinema One’s Celebrity Central Block if she has reconciled with Director Lino Cayetano.

“No, we’re not back together,” she says. “All I can say is happy ‘yung heart ko ngayon.”

So who or what makes it happy? “Marami, pero included na rin ‘yun (referring to Direk Lino). Part na rin yun. Kaya lang, I’m the girl, nakakahiya naman kung sa akin manggagaling.”

So, she’s the cause of the breakup of Lino and KC Concepcion? “No. Lino is a very decent guy and he won’t start to talk to me again kung alam niyang may ibang masasaktan. Also, I have no right to comment on anything about their relationship dahil in fairness to them, hindi sila noon nag-comment at all about me.”
