Richard Gutierrez says Heart Evangelista is “Hot”

WHAT does Richard Gutierrez think of Heart Evangelista? “She’s hot!” he says. “You should see her belly dancing scene in ‘Codename: Asero.’ Ang ganda ng katawan niya ngayon at ang suwerte ko ngang akong nakapareha niya. She’s more focused on her career now at talagang masarap siyang katrabaho.”

So can he fall in love with her?

“That’s not hard to see kasi madali siyang mahalin. But as of now, we’re better off as friends. Trabaho na lang muna.”

At the presscon of “Asero,” many press people notice how abundant Heart’s boobs are and they ask her if she had breast augmentation.

Binigyangimportansiya si Heart bilang newest Kapuso and also Richard Gutierrez’ newest leading lady in the upcoming Codename: Asero na magpa-pilot this Monday sa GMA Tele Babad kapalit ng magtatapos naman tonight na Joaquin Bordado.

After Mulawin nga, first time na may makaka-sama si Richard sa giant billboard for the show. That never happened sa Sugo, Captain Barbell, Lupin and Kamandag, ha!

Richard Gutierrez laughs off Angel Locsin issue

RICHARD Gutierrez just laughs off the rumor that he’s trying to woo Angel Locsin. “That started when she attended the birthday party of my Ate Ruffa and when we saw each other, siyempre we hugged nang mahigpit,” he explains. “Kasi we haven’t seen one another since we shot a TV commercial in Bangkok a long time ago. May pinagsamahan din naman kaming ilang TV shows (on GMA7) and movies kaya na-miss namin ang isa’t isa. O, ’yung mga nakakita sa hug namin, siguro they gave malice to what they saw. But for us, definitely walang malisya ’yun. Just a friendly hug at hindi ibig sabihin liligawan ko siya.”

How do rumors linking him to Angel or to Heart Evangelista affect his relationship with KC who he admits to be the one closest to him now? “I don’t think that will be an issue between us. She knows naging ka-love team ko si Angel and I’m now paired with Heart in GMA7’s ‘Codename: Asero’, kaya walang epekto ’yan sa aming friendship.”

Richard Gutierrez souvenir for Heart Evangelista

RAYMOND Gutierrez interviewed his twin brod Richard in “Showbiz Central” on the set of “Codename: Asero.” The new show is quite impressive and they’re taping a scene where a doctor, Ehra Madrigal, does underwater surgery on an injured Richard, who becomes a cyborg or man-robot. According to “Asero” director Mark Reyes, this is his most difficult assignment so far as it’s so hot in Dubai, 40 to 50 degrees, when they shot the opening scenes there. “Asero” is a science-fiction adventure show with plenty of CGI effects.

“It was there that I did my most difficult stunt so far,” says Richard. “It’s a chase scene in the desert with me driving a safari. You’d think it’s easy pero bumabaon talaga sa sand ang sasakyan and we got stalled several times.”

RICHARD Gutierrez and KC Concepcion in Greece: Anything can happen

RICHARD Gutierrez and KC Concepcion are leaving with Director Joyce Bernal on July 14 for their location shooting in Greece of their first movie together, “For the First Time.” “We’re both looking forward to it and we’re both excited as it’s not only our first time to travel together but also it’s both our first time to go to Greece, an old country with an ancient culture na maraming interesting historical places,” says Richard. “Nagkataon nga, the day we leave, ‘yun din ang start ng telecast sa GMA-7 ng bago kong show na ‘Code Name: Asero’ where I play a cyborg or half human-half machine character na parang sa ‘Terminator.’ Buti nga marami na ka-ming natapos na advanced episodes para hindi ko na problemahin ang show while I’m shooting the movie with KC.”

So does he expect something beautiful to develop between the two of them while they are in a romantic place like Greece? “I’m open to anything, so anything can happen in Greece. We never can tell naman what might happen, di ba? But more than that, our primary concern will be yung mapaganda ang movie dahil maraming nag-aabang dito and we don’t want to disappoint them.

Richard Gutierrez and KC Concepcion: Happy together

THE first shooting day of “For the First Time,” the first movie team-up of Richard Gutierrez and KC Concepcion, finally took place last Saturday, directed by Joyce Bernal for Star Cinema. The first scene they shot was taken in a bar on Bonifacio High Street at the Fort.

ABS-CBN Star Magic talent Denise Laurel was with them. From there, they shot the next scene in a bookstore. Both Richard and KC were in high spirits as they really look forward to working with each other.

“Gusto ko talagang makapareha si KC sa pelikula,” says Richard, who’s also now the top endorser of Flawless Face Body Medical. “Matagal ko nang pinangarap na makatrabaho siya and I expected her to be so much fun to be with. I’m happy to say that all my expectations about her were met.”

Annabelle Rama galit kay Pokwang

Usap-usapan sa showbiz ang galit ni Annabelle Rama kay Pokwang dahil sa ginawang pang-ookray ng komedyana kay Raymond Gutierrez sa show nila ni Pooh last Friday sa Music Museum na Poohkwang.

Maselan ang joke ni Pokwang dahil may kinalaman sa gender, kaya as expected, nagalit si Tita Annabelle, na noon pa’y talagang kilala sa pagtatanggol sa kanyang pamilya.

Sa galit diumano ni Annabelle ay pinatatanggal pa niya si Pokwang sa movie nina Richard Gutierrez at KC Concepcion sa Star Cinema.

Sa presscon ng Tanging Ai-Ai…In Concert ni Ai-Ai de las Alas last Wednesday night, natanong ang Comedy Concert Queen kung ano ang opinyon niya sa ginawa ni Pokwang since iniidolo siya ng komedyana at pareho sila halos ng istilo sa pagso-show.
