Pinoy Big Brother Teen Edition Plus is the best PBB season

SOME folks say the current season of Pinoy Big Brother Teen Edition Plus is one of the best ever. To give in to fans’ request, ABS-CBN Publishing has released a magazine featuring the teen housemates, many of whom now have their own following.
They say one reason why most of the housemates are attractive is that they’re mostly Eurasian. Alex’s dad is Italian, Linda’s dad is Swedish, Valerie’s dad is German, Kevin’s dad is Spanish and Ejay’s dad is French, making them truly international. In the PBB magazine, you’ll find out what makes them uniquely Filipino despite their mixed origins.
You can read profiles of all the housemates, including their baby photos. So if you want to find out how Robi of Ateneo and Josef of La Salle looked as infants, then get a copy of the mag now that also includes photos of the first ever in-house graduation ceremony, a story on hosts Toni Gonzaga and company, and more photos from the taping of the pilot episode.

Mahigit sa 12 bersyon ng Betty La Fea ang nagawa sa buong mundo at na-dub sa iba’t ibang lenggwahe.

The 4th eviction night started with Kuya giving the housemates good news about the combined results of his tuliang bayan projects. Big Brother lauded the male housemates and guardians’ courage – Alex’s right of passage operation and the guys’ sacrifice to have their hair cut – giving 327 kids a chance to be circumcised for free. He then showed them some clips of what happened during the event and all the teens applauded and cheered for a job well done.
Host Toni Gonzaga then got down to business and announced who among the nominees are safe from eviction. Robi was the first one to give a sigh of relief and he was soon followed by “BBF” Josef. Rona, who was in tears, gave Jolas a tight hug when her name was called to the safe zone last by Toni. The Gentle Giant and Daddy Ike quickly said their good-byes and wished everyone good luck.
They were then ushered to the stage, where they were greeted warmly by Jolas’ mom. The young man from Bulacan only got 8.66% of the votes while Robi got 44.82%, Josef 29.43% and Rona 17.09%.

DZMM Teleradyo is celebrating its 1st anniversary and it’s now also available in North America via TFC to enable our kababayans there to get the latest political and entertainment news from DZMM’s formidable roster of top caliber anchors. Incidentally, three of its female anchors are getting married this year.
First is Nina Corpus who’s marrying Vince Rodriguez of Quezon in Paris on May 20, followed by Bernadette Sembrano who’ll be a June bride on June 12, and Cheryl Cosim who’s getting hitched in October. Isn’t colleague Korina Sanchez envious of them? “Not at all,” she says. “Sana kung wala akong lovelife.”
So it’s not true that she’s broken up with Sen. Mar Roxas?

Jieriel of PBB Teen Edition Plus, ANTIPATIKA!

AFTER three weeks, the first eviction night was held in the PBB Teen Edition Plus and the first teen housemate to go was Jieriel, called the Bubbly Girl of Davao who wasn’t so bubbly anymore when she was ousted.
We had the gut feel that she’d be the one to be evicted as most viewers have this perception that she is a complainer or “reklamadora,” a trait that obviously also turned off her housemates.
She says she’s not “reklamadora” but just frank.

LUIS Manzano proved to be a very competent host in “PBB Teens Plus” last Sunday night. Actually, he just returned that morning from Bangkok, where he spent Maundy Thursday to Black Saturday with rumored girlfriend Angel Locsin.
Luis used to spend Holy Week in Boracay, but this year, he opted to spend it with Angel in Thailand. But still, he won’t talk about his relationship with Angel and chooses to remain mysterious about it.
Luis was the one who toured viewers around the 1,500 sq. m. PBB house that’s been renovated for its teen housemates.
